During the Christmas season, the Fund provides toys for needy families, helping all our neighbors experience some joy during those special holidays.

Annual Christmas Project

Salado Family Relief manages the Christmas Project, whereby qualified families are presented with toys and gifts for Christmas.

The Salado Family Relief Fund protects the identity of the children receiving the gifts.

Every year, SFRF provides Christmas presents to about 150 children. Applicants are screened for needs and to be sure that gift-giving is equitable and age-appropriate. Gifts total about $75-100 per child. Local churches and other civic and local groups often adopt large families or age groups of children. Salado Masonic Lodge purchases bikes and helmets for the dozen or so requests each year.

Members of the Salado Masonic Lodge stand behind donated bicycles and helmets.
Salado Family Relief coordinates with local churches and groups, including the Salado Masonic Lodge (shown above) to bring Christmas to more than 150 Salado children each year.
