About

Charity Begins at Home—in Salado

The Salado Family Relief Fund serves families in the Salado Independent School District who need a helping hand.

Our Mission

The mission of the Salado Family Relief Fund is to provide assistance to families and individuals within the Salado Independent School District that are in need of financial assistance on a temporary basis.

Your Salado neighbors may need a month’s rent or utility bill.

That one payment may stop an eviction or loss of electricity—which would end your neighbors’ ability to work or keep the lights on.

The Fund qualifies Salado families and provides short-term relief.

Over 100 children in Salado ISD lack school supplies—and the Family Relief Fund helps provide these supplies every year.

Some students do not have money for school lunch—but do not qualify for federal assistance, so the Fund helps these students, our neighbors.

During the Christmas season, the Fund provides toys for needy families, helping all our neighbors experience some joy during those special holidays.

Economic hardships—especially close to home—are often invisible, yet they are there.

Salado Family Relief cooperates—via dedicated volunteers—with local churches, civic groups and businesses, gathering resources for our neighbors in need.

We are fortunate to live in a wonderful, safe, healthy village—Salado—yet some of our neighbors are struggling.
