Back-to-School Backpack Project
Our organization provides the school supplies needed for the upcoming year for the children in Salado’s elementary school for grades Pre-K through 12th grade along with a backpack. This is a great way to help students start the school year prepared!

Annual Christmas Project
This project provides Christmas presents to approximately 150 Salado children Pre-K through 5th grade. Parents needing help provide a list of three gifts for their child. The parents (applicants) are screened for their need, ensuring gift-giving is equitable and age-appropriate. Gifts total approximately $75-$100 per child. Local churches, civic organizations and individuals often adopt large families or age groups of children. For example, Salado Masonic Lodge yearly purchases bikes and helmets for children who dream of finding a bike under their Christmas tree. The generosity of the Salado community is in keeping with the Christmas Spirit.
